about abbieI’m Abbie, a natural light photographer with a passion for photographic stories. My favorite medium is film – it is a bit like that little black dress that just never goes out of style. Shooting film has shaped me as a photographer, causing me to be more deliberate and thoughtful with each shot that I take, and pushing me to become a better photographer, regardless of what kind of camera I’m using. It is my greatest pleasure to produce simple yet visually stunning images that truly become family heirlooms…..something timeless that will be enjoyed for generations to come. Beautiful portraits with classic sensibility never go out of style. My shooting style is soft and sophisticated, with a touch of romance and whimsy. My family means the world to me, and I usually can be found with a kid or giant dog curled up beside me when I’m at home. I love to cruise with my husband on our motorcycle, get lost in a good book, catch up with an old friend, and listen to all sorts of music.
